Jen-Col Construction builds a better future

October 7, 2016

October 1 this year marked Jen-Col Construction’s 45th Anniversary plus the retirement celebration for Ron Jodoin, principal and originator of the Jen-Col company.

To celebrate both occasions, Cory Jodoin, Ron’s son and CEO of Jen-Col held a recognition evening for more than 400 guests. As part of the celebration Jen-Col wanted to encourage their company philosophy of "Build a Better Future" so asked all guests to join them in support a charity of choice - CapitalCare Foundation.

Our Foundation was very pleased to be chosen and eagerly helped to create a fun and unique way to commemorate the evening and capture the spirit of giving that Jen-Col fosters. Kimberly Heacock, a recent graduate of University of Alberta Fine Arts program, provided a live painting demonstration throughout the evening, creating a masterpiece collage of all four of Jen-Col’s building through its 45 years.

Attendees at the event joined in the fun by donating in Ron’s name to keep Kimberly painting. The funds raised will be used in spring 2017 to build a outdoor pergola at one of CapitalCare’s centres on the south side of Edmonton.

It was truly a evening of community!
