About the Board

Our Board of Directors meets five times a year, plus our holiday party. The meeting is usually around 90 minutes in length.

Board Members are also asked to join one of our three subcommittees – Governance, Finance and Marketing. These meet four times a year. There is some work that takes place between meetings; however, this is usually taken on, on a volunteer basis.

Board members can expect to spend 5 to 7 hours a month helping the Foundation fulfill our mission.

What to Expect After You Hit Submit

Thanks for taking the time to tell us about yourself.
We look forward to reading all about you. Once our committee has a chance to review your application, if we think that there is a fit. Someone will call you for an interview. If you are not selected, you will be sent an email.
Your interview will be a mix of casual conversation and set questions. It is a chance for us to hear about you but also for you to ask questions about us, The Foundation, CapitalCare Operations and future plans.

If both parties agree there is a fit, the board chair will reach out to offer a position on the board. After that there will be a meeting with the board chair and your board mentor to further help successful onboard you.

Your first board meeting will be at our holiday party. You will have a chance to meet all the board members and spread some holiday cheer.
